Proceedings

The Proceedings of The International Conference on Low Temperature Physics LT25 will be published by the Institute of Physics Publishing, UK, in the following form

Plenary and Half-Plenary lectures will be published in a special issue of "Journal of Physics: Condensed Matter" (JPCM). All papers will be subject to JPCM peer review policy and standards. The authors of these papers will be contacted directly, and should submit their papers directly to the editor for the proceedings, who will collect them and submit them to JPCM to ensure that only the right papers are submitted to JPCM. A maximum of 10 pages is allowed. Please use the correct template as indicated below. The deadline for submission of these manuscripts is 30 September 2008.

All other contributions (oral and poster) will be published in electronic form in a volume of the "Journal of Physics: Conference Series” (JPCS) after reviewing. Authors should submit online to facilitate the editorial and reviewing process. For each presented abstract a manuscript of 4 pages (maximum) may be submitted to the proceedings. Submission of new manuscripts has been closed after August 2008.

Both of these journals are fully accessible electronically and can be cited and referenced in the usual way. All papers in Journal of Physics: Conference Series will be free to download. The papers in Journal of Physics: Condensed Matter are free to download for all conference participants during one year after appearance, after which the regular subscription rules apply.

The envisaged date of publication is 15 January 2009.

A USB-memory stick with abstracts, the conference program book and manuscripts (not-reviewed) will be distributed to all participants of LT25. This is sponsored by Stirling Cryogenics & Refrigeration B.V.

Preparation of Manuscripts

JPCM and JPCS have different publication processes and workflows, but ALL authors are kindly asked to use the JPCS template (MS Word or Latex2e) to prepare their paper. This template will produce files that are suitable for submission to each journal and so will enable rapid production and publication of the proceedings. Failure to use the JPCS template will cause a delay in publication, so your cooperation is very much appreciated.
